This Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") applies to JKSLedgr, a cloud-based accounting platform operated by JKS IT Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). By using JKSLedgr, you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimers. This Disclaimer supplements our Terms of Service and Data Privacy Policy.

1. Not Professional Advice

JKSLedgr is a software tool designed to assist businesses with accounting, bookkeeping, and tax preparation tasks. It is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. The platform does not provide certified public accounting services, tax consultation, or legal counsel. You should consult with a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA), tax professional, or legal advisor for advice specific to your business situation.

2. BIR Report Accuracy

JKSLedgr generates BIR-compliant reports (including but not limited to Forms 2307, 2550Q, 1601-EQ, SAWT, QAP, MAP, SLS, and SLP) based on the data you enter into the platform. The accuracy of these reports depends entirely on the completeness and correctness of your input data. You are responsible for reviewing all generated reports before submission to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). JKS IT Solutions does not guarantee the accuracy of generated reports and is not liable for any penalties, assessments, or consequences arising from incorrect filings.

3. BIR CAS Compliance

JKSLedgr is designed to function as a Computerized Accounting System (CAS) as referenced under BIR Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 15-2018. However, it is the user's responsibility to:

• Obtain a Permit to Use CAS from their respective Revenue District Office (RDO)
• Ensure that the system configuration meets the specific requirements of their RDO
• Maintain proper Books of Accounts alongside the computerized system as required by the BIR
• Comply with the 10-year record retention requirement for books of accounts and supporting documents

JKS IT Solutions does not guarantee that the platform will satisfy every CAS requirement of every RDO, as requirements may vary by region and examiner.

4. Regulatory Compliance

While JKSLedgr supports features for BIR tax compliance, payroll processing, and government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG/HDMF), you remain solely responsible for:

• Timely filing and payment of all tax obligations
• Accurate computation and remittance of employee government contributions
• Compliance with Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations
• Maintaining proper employment records as required by Philippine labor law
• Securing all necessary business permits and registrations

5. System Limitations

JKSLedgr is continually being improved and updated. However:

• The platform may not cover every edge case or scenario specific to your industry or business type
• Tax computations are based on published BIR tables and regulations, which may not account for special rulings or exemptions applicable to your business
• Report formats are designed to meet general BIR requirements but may not satisfy specific or additional requirements imposed by individual RDOs
• Integration features depend on the availability and compatibility of third-party systems

6. Changes in Tax Law

Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and government contribution tables are subject to change. While we strive to update JKSLedgr promptly when regulatory changes take effect:

• There may be a delay between the effective date of a regulatory change and the corresponding platform update
• You should independently verify that the platform reflects the most current tax rates, thresholds, and filing requirements
• We are not liable for any discrepancies arising from regulatory changes that have not yet been incorporated into the platform

7. Service Availability and Filing Deadlines

JKSLedgr is a cloud-based service that requires an internet connection. While we strive for 99.9% uptime:

• Service interruptions may occur due to scheduled maintenance, emergency updates, or circumstances beyond our control
• Downtime may impact your ability to access, generate, or submit reports before filing deadlines
• You should download and save copies of critical reports well in advance of filing deadlines
• We are not responsible for missed deadlines or late filing penalties resulting from service interruptions
• We recommend maintaining local backups of essential financial data

8. Third-Party Integrations

JKSLedgr may integrate with or rely upon third-party services for certain features (including but not limited to payment processing, email delivery, and real-time communication). We are not responsible for:

• The availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services
• Data processing practices of third-party service providers
• Changes to third-party APIs or services that may temporarily affect platform functionality
• Any losses arising from third-party service interruptions or errors

9. No Guarantee of Financial Outcomes

JKSLedgr is a tool to help you manage your accounting and finances more efficiently. We do not guarantee:

• Any specific financial outcomes, tax savings, or business results from using the platform
• That the use of JKSLedgr will prevent tax assessments, penalties, or audits
• That automated calculations will always match manual computations by a CPA
• That BIR or other government agencies will accept all reports generated by the platform without modification

Use of JKSLedgr does not replace the need for professional oversight of your financial records and tax obligations.
